Refunds and cancellation

30-day money-back on a new license

If Indolent CAD does not earn a place on your floor, email support@indolent.design within 30 days of your first purchase and you get a full refund. No form, no call, no reason required. Include the email address you bought with, or the order number from your receipt, so we can find the order.

Refunds go back to the original payment method and are processed through Stripe, our payment processor, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. The 30-day window applies once, to the first purchase of a license; it does not restart on renewal.

What happens to your files

A refund revokes the license key and the app returns to NOT ACTIVATED. Every part, drawing, NC1, DXF, STEP and cut list you generated stays on your disk and stays yours. The free Indolent Viewer keeps opening your .indolent packages.

Renewal

The license renews automatically every year at the price in effect for your plan. You receive a reminder email before the renewal date. The renewal is charged to the payment method on file with Stripe.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time from the customer portal link in your receipt email, or by emailing support@indolent.design. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current yearly term: you keep using the software until that date, and you are not charged again. After the 30-day window there are no pro-rata refunds for the remainder of a term, except where the law of your location requires one.

Moving machines and changing the named user

A license is for one named user. That user may activate the software on the machines they personally use (an office workstation and a shop laptop, for example); the licensing service keeps one seat active at a time. Deactivate from Settings > LICENSE before retiring a machine, or ask support to release the seat. The named user can be changed by emailing support; frequent reassignment is not a way to share one license.

Taxes

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT, where it applies, is calculated and added at checkout (Stripe Tax) and collected by Indolent Designs LLC, the seller of record for the sale.

Site licences

Multi-user site licences are agreed in a separate written order and carry the refund and cancellation terms stated in that order. Ask at support@indolent.design.

This page is a plain-language summary. The End User License Agreement governs if the two differ. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your location.
